On November 22, 2023, the signing ceremony for the industrialization of high-end metalworking fluids between the Qingdao Resource Chemistry and New Materials Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Weifang Aorunde New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was held in the conference room of the Qingdao Resource Chemistry and New Materials Research Center.
Liu Weimin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wang Xiaobo, director of the Qingdao Research Center for Resource Chemistry and New Materials, Zhang Xia, researcher of the Qingdao Research Center for Resource Chemistry and New Materials, Han Peng, chairman of Weifang Aorunde New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Sun Liqiang, executive deputy general manager, and Zhang Xiaolin, deputy general manager, attended the signing ceremony. This cooperation will rely on academician Liu Weimin of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to work at the academician workstation of Weifang Orund New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
The Qingdao Resource Chemistry and New Materials Research Center was established in 2009, gathering local government and enterprise scientific and technological innovation resources, creating an internationally first-class research hardware platform, and continuously carrying out core technology research and industrialization for major national and local needs. It is committed to building a highland for scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation, and achievement transformation in the field of resource chemistry and new materials in the eastern region. In recent years, Qingdao Center has achieved great success in the fields of high-end metalworking fluids, high-temperature chain oils, aerospace lubricants, and high-end equipment lubricants, changing the situation of domestic dependence on imported high-end lubricants. The products developed by the center are in a leading position in the industry. At present, 4 invention patents have been applied for and 2 have been authorized for metalworking fluids.
After signing the contract, Weifang Aorunde New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. will undertake the industrialization of high-end metalworking fluids at Qingdao Resource Chemistry and New Materials Research Center. We will engage in deep cooperation in areas such as black metal processing, aluminum alloy processing, titanium alloy processing, glass processing, etc., to provide more optimized cooling and lubrication solutions for the advanced manufacturing industry chain in China, truly leveraging the “leverage effect” of metalworking fluids in processing costs. At the same time, we will adhere to the concept of green development, develop environmentally friendly metalworking fluids, and support the implementation of the national “dual carbon” strategy.
In the future, the company will continue to deepen its cooperation with the Qingdao Center of the Institute of Lanhua, Chinese Academy of Sciences, continuously improve its research and service capabilities in lubricant products, enhance its ability to empower customers, and contribute to the development of the industry.
